1. Hardware and Operations System Configurations

If you are using older or unsupported versions of Windows, Unix, or Mac operating systems, you may experience difficulty in viewing and/or listening to the webcast. Below are the recommended system configurations:

  • 2.3 Ghz, dual core
  • 4GB RAM
  • 1600×900 screen resolution
  • Windows 7 or higher
  • Apple Mac OS X 10.11 or higher

2. Microphone/camera blocked by your system

Sometimes, though, the problem might not be browser/app at all. If you’re on a Windows 10 or MacOS device, the webcam might be blocked. You can correct this by checking your app permissions to make sure the browser/app can use your webcam.

Windows 10
  • Start Button (Windows icon) -> Settings -> Privacy -> Camera/Microphone ( Scroll through the list on the left)
  • Under “Allow Apps to Access Your Camera/Microphone” -> click the Change button and make sure it is switched on
  • Make sure that under “Allow Desktop Apps To Access Your Camera/Microphone” is turned on
  • Quit your browser/app and relaunch

  • System Preferences -> Security & Privacy ->Privacy tab -> Camera/Microphone ( Scroll through the list on the left)
  • Check the box corresponding to your browser/app within the Allow the apps below to access your camera/microphone
  • You will be prompted to quit your browser ->Choose Quit Now
  • Relaunch your browser/app
