This page describes the types of attendance, virtual and in-person, as well as the rules for switching between them.

If you are still unsure about traveling to Pescara due to the pandemic, then first register for virtual attendance and you can later upgrade to in-person event if necessary (and upon availability). The process is the following:

  • Select virtual as the registration type that you are interested in and complete your registration (incl. payment).
  • Then, until June 22nd you will be able to:
    • Upgrade your virtual to in-person registration and benefit from both the face-to-face meeting and the digital platform. The difference between the rates must be paid when the change is confirmed by Kuoni Congress.
    • Keep your virtual registration.

In-Person

If you are sure about traveling to Pescara, then register for in-person event and secure your place for face-to-face meeting. This will also include the benefits of the digital platform. The process is the following:

  • Select in-person as the registration type that you are interested in and complete your registration (incl. payment).
  • Then, until June 22nd you will be able to:
    • Move your in-person registration to virtual. The difference between both rates will be refunded after the conference.
    • Keep your in-person registration.

Please note that in-person registration cannot be totally cancelled; you will only be able to change your in-person event registration to virtual in case you want to.

Registration modification rules

IAGP2022 Congress is currently being planned as a hybrid congress with physical presence as well as with a virtual component. As we understand the uncertainty during these unprecedented times, we offer our participants the flexibility of changing their registration until June 22nd and, upon availability, from virtual to in-person or vice versa.

Specifically, the following changes are allowed:

  • From virtual to in-person
  • From in-person option to virtual
Please note that only one change is allowed per participant. If you are not sure yet, we recommend that you first register for the virtual option and then upgrade to in-person option by June 22nd. The fee that you already paid for the virtual option will be deducted from the in-person fee.

Upon request, the IAGP2022 Congress technical secretariat will change your initial virtual registration to an in-person registration or vice versa.

For virtual to in-person you will be asked to pay the remaining amount between virtual registration and in-person registration before the conference starting date.

For in-person to virtual we will refund the difference amount withholding 5€ as administrative fee. Please note that all refunds will be made after the conference.

Deadline to change from virtual to in-person or from in-person to virtual registration, is June 22nd. Participants unable to attend may transfer their booking to another person.


  • Full cancelations received before 16th June 2022: your registration can be cancelled free of charge less of 20 € administrative fee.
  • Full cancelations received from 17th June 2022 onwards: no refund can be made. 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Virtual participation includes

Includes: Access to the whole content in the virtual platform.

In-Person participation

Includes: Admission to all workshops and conference sessions, Coffee breaks, Wi-fi access, printed congress program (printed only on demand), access to all virtual platform contents.

Does not include: Accommodation, Lunch, Conference Banquet, Touristic excursions, travel expenses, personal insurance.

Registration Types & Fees

Fees are divided into different categories depending of IAGP membership (or not) or if you are a young professional.

Additionally, fees are different depending on your country of origin. Below you will find information on countries belonging to Band A. All the rest belong to Bands B/C/D. IAGP has adopted the World Bank’s method rating of country income.

Online

  • Go on Western Union website: www.westernunion.com
  • Select the recipient country (Kuoni = Switzerland)
  • Enter the total amount
  • Select the way recipient should receive money (bank account)
  • Select your payment method
  • Create an account to proceed with payment

In-Person

  • Go in one of the Western Union office located in your country
  • Proceed with payment by cash
  • Give the Kuoni bank account details (that you will find in the registration confirmation email)

Mobile Phone

  • Download the Western Union mobile app
  • Follow the process in order to proceed with payment

Grants

IAGP is committed to provide financial support to colleagues for whom the financial burden of attending the Congress is too great, by offering scholarship to enable them to attend the conference (on-site or online).

Each application will be reviewed by a committee established by the IAGP organizer. The number of grants will depend on the number of applications and their profiles.

The financial support includes: travel grants, accommodation and/or registration fees. The deadline for scholarship support application is 11th March. Results of the committee's decision will be communicated individually by email end of March.

The participants who wish to submit a financial support application will be asked to provide the following information:

  • Personal data

  • Date of birth
  • Academic references
  • Motivational letter
  • Resume
  • 2 supporting reference letters

Donations

Dear Congress Participant, Here is the list of those who donated to the Scholarship Fund.With your generosity, we will be able to provide partial scholarships for students and young professionals, and help them attend our upcoming congress in Pescara, Italy, and online.
